The sophisticated home-feeling decor in the shades of greens and white is very soothing. As you enter, you can observe the large marble counter, wooden floor, and beautiful lanterns and chairs suspended from the ceiling, one second you are in a middle of an outdoor garden and the next, you are next to cozy fireplace feel, light’s down ready for an intimate rendez-vous.
On the Gourmet side, it is the chef Stéphanie Audet (Crudessence) who signs the LOV menu. She has brilliantly composed a menu almost entirely vegan where the cuisine is botanical, and where organic, local and fresh products are honored. “The house offers a varied cuisine ideal for small and large food cravings: sandwiches, vegetable burgers, salads, sandwiches, snacks, healthy bowls and comforting hot dishes – such as sweet potato gnocchi, royal scallops and risottos. A favorite with Harvest (seasonal vegetable dip and pumpkin seed mayonnaise) and the Burger Big LOV, which is a bit like the Big Mac (homemade cake, cheese, onion, tomato, gherkin and Big LOV sauce). It also has some options for those who are not vegetarians; Just ask for it! I definitely recommend the sharing option.
Side note: breakfast will also be available soon. The restaurant is now one of Montreal’s finest vegetarian restaurants!
And yes, they do serve alcohol at LOV. The restaurant offers a selection of natural and organic wines and unique cocktail creations.
On top of the great quality of the food, the unique environment and the creative concept, the team has been on point every single time, very friendly and helpful. I am already a big fan.
